THREE STUDIES OF LUCIAN FREUD

EXPERIENTIAL EXHIBIT

The aim of this project was to convey a two dimensional art piece in space. The painting was translated into a sculptural form and viewed from three exact positions through pinholes. The viewer can then go upstairs and view the sculpture from above along with the original paintings. This experience highlights the inconsistencies in the painting views as well as, allow the viewer to better understand the change in perspective shown in the series.
