THREE STUDIES OF LUCIAN FREUD

A Spacial Exhibit

A spacial study of the triptych Three Studies of Lucian Freud. This project was to create an exhibit that conveyed a painting in three dimensional space. The design I proposed reconstructed the subject of the painting in space with designated views through pin holes on the first floor. The second floor looks over the sculptural subject allowing the viewer to understand it as a whole with the paintings alongside to compare. This display shows both the intended views and the inconsistency of the paintings when analyzed critically.
